Couples Therapy

gottman informed

Service Type: Couples Therapy
Format: In-person or virtual
Approach: Gottman-informed (Level 1) with reflective, relational work
Session Length: 1 hour
Facilitator: Melissa Legge, Founder of Open Book Therapies
Session Cost: $220 per session

This isn’t surface-level couples work or a quick fix. It’s a supportive space for partners to slow down, reflect, and better understand one another. Drawing on Gottman-informed concepts, sessions focus on strengthening communication, navigating conflict more effectively, and deepening emotional connection.

Together, we explore the patterns that create distance and gently build skills around emotional attunement, boundaries, and turning toward one another with greater clarity and compassion. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s a more connected, intentional relationship.
